As the son of a union steelworker, Labor Day is one of my favorite holidays of the year. And now, spending the Sunday before in Mannington with the Marion County AFL-CIO is one of my favorite ways to celebrate it! I especially enjoyed hearing from our phenomenal labor leaders, remembering those who fought for worker’s rights in the past, and looking forward to improving the lives of working families in the future.
I had a great time last night at Show of Hands in downtown Wheeling. All of the presentations were excellent, and exemplify what can happen when we as a community come together to support entrepreneurs and grow our economy.
